2018 History Fest

Minnesota teachers of history: join us for the 2018 History Fest, a conference focused entirely on teaching history in the K-12 classroom!

The keynote speaker for the 2018 History Fest is Dr. Angela Jill Cooley, Associate Professor of History at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Dr. Cooley specializes in civil rights history and will deliver a presentation focusing on the role that food played in rural Mississippi in the 1960s and 1970s.

Participants will be able to choose between educator-led sessions, presentations from college professors, and sessions from content experts. Session strands will focus on teaching history at the following levels: Elementary, Middle School, High School-US History and High School-World History. Parking, lunch, camaraderie with fellow history nerds and CEUs will be included.
